Erica Middleton is an experienced and established tutor in Art for the WEA. She also taught undergraduates Art History for the Open University for fourteen years, and she teaches Art history in galleries to a group of medics in European cities. Her teaching specialities are drawing and painting life class and oil painting – e.g. landscapes, abstracts. Her own work ranges from finely crafted still lives to landscape painting. Erica has exhibited in Venice, London and numerous exhibitions more locally including Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. Her qualifications are a Master’s Degree in Art History at Nottingham University (2000), B.A. (Hons) Fine Art: Painting at Loughborough University School of Art and Design (1995) and Certificate of Education at Reading University. She is also a Member of the Higher Education Academy.
